We hear the invisible. Edmeire speaks to us, we listen. We go out, Rua dos Invalidos. The street in 2022, the metal door slamming behind, the acquaintances in front. We walk towards the Santo Antônio dos Pobres parish, one of the few that helped the enslaved, a symbol. A short walk, only one two-lane street to cross. A walk that makes us listen to history.
